# Linking your account to your organization

Skipped the group code at signup, or missing from your organization's roster? Here's how to connect an existing account to your club, high school, or recruiting service.

If you signed up on your own and your club, high school, or recruiting service also uses ProductiveRecruit, your account isn't connected to them until you join their space. The signs: you're not on the organization's roster, your coaches can't see you, and checklists or shared templates never show up.

## Connect an existing account

Ask your organization for their registration link or group code. On the registration page, choose **join with existing account** and enter the group code. That moves your existing account into their space rather than creating a duplicate, and everything you've built comes with you.

## What changes when you join

Your organization's coaches and admins can see your profile and activity, assign [checklists](/docs/checklists/athlete-view), and share [email templates](/docs/team-tools/shared-templates) with you. You'll also appear on their [team pages](/docs/team-tools/team-profiles) and rosters.

What doesn't change: the account is still yours. Your profile, target list, and email history stay exactly as they were.

## Not sure whether your organization has an account?

Ask them directly, or email support@productiverecruit.com with the organization's name and we'll check.

## Already created a second account by mistake?

That's fixable. See [fixing duplicate accounts](/docs/faq/duplicate-accounts).
