# Organization quick start

Set up your club, high school, or recruiting service on ProductiveRecruit — invite staff, register athletes, assign checklists, and get your whole roster recruiting in an afternoon.

This guide takes a brand-new organization account from setup to a recruiting roster in an afternoon. It's written for the admin setting things up: a club director, high school coach, or recruiting service owner.

New here? Organization accounts start with a **[demo call](/demo)**. We'll walk through the product live, then create your account for you on the plan that fits your roster. Once you're in, work through the steps below in order.

## 1. Review your organization's details

Your account arrives with the basics already set up from your demo call. Head to your space **Settings** to add your logo and double-check your name, website, and location. These show up on your team profiles, printable rosters, and any athlete-facing pages, so it's worth getting your branding right up front. See [Organization onboarding](/docs/organizations/onboarding) for what to expect on your first login.

If you run multiple teams or programs, get familiar with how **spaces and teams** are structured before you invite anyone — it shapes how athletes and staff are grouped. See [Spaces & teams explained](/docs/organizations/spaces-and-teams).

## 2. Invite your staff

Add the coaches, team managers, and admins who'll help run recruiting. Each person gets a role that controls what they can see and do, so a team manager can't change billing and a coach only sees their own athletes. See [Staff roles & permissions](/docs/organizations/staff-roles-and-permissions) and [Inviting staff](/docs/organizations/inviting-staff).

## 3. Add your athletes

There are two ways to get athletes onto your roster:

- **Group registration codes** — share a link or code and athletes register themselves. Best for getting a whole team signed up fast.
- **Bulk import** — upload a CSV of your roster and we create the accounts for you. Best when you already have athlete data in a spreadsheet.

See [Athlete registration & group codes](/docs/organizations/athlete-registration) and [Bulk athlete import (CSV)](/docs/organizations/bulk-import).

## 4. Build and assign a recruiting checklist

Checklists are how you keep an entire roster on track without chasing each athlete. Build a sequence of steps (build your profile, add a highlight video, connect Gmail, send your first email) with due dates, then auto-assign it so every new athlete gets it automatically. See [Creating a recruiting checklist](/docs/checklists/creating-a-checklist) and [Auto-assigning checklists](/docs/checklists/auto-assign).

## 5. Set up shared templates and team tools

Give your athletes a head start by creating **shared email templates** they can use right away, so their outreach is on-brand and coach-ready from day one. Then publish **team profiles** and **printable rosters** to showcase your athletes to college coaches. See [Shared email templates](/docs/team-tools/shared-templates) and [Team profiles](/docs/team-tools/team-profiles).

## 6. Track engagement from the admin dashboard

Once athletes are active, your **admin dashboard** shows recruiting activity across the whole roster: who's emailing coaches, whose profiles are getting viewed, and which athletes need a nudge. See [The admin dashboard](/docs/organizations/admin-dashboard).

## What's next

- Decide on a roster size and plan. Pricing scales with the number of athletes. See [Choosing the right plan](/docs/getting-started/choosing-a-plan).
- Want athletes to follow a guided path? Set up a [recruiting checklist](/docs/checklists/creating-a-checklist) for each grad year.
