# Committed athletes showcase

Embed a live widget on your team or club website that showcases every athlete who has committed to play in college.

The committed athletes showcase is a live, embeddable widget that lists every athlete in your organization who has committed to play in college, searchable by name, sport, position, grad year, and more. Drop it on your team or club website once and it stays current on its own, with no manual updates when a new athlete commits.

## Where it lives

The showcase is the **Commitments** tab on the **Website Integrations** page — the same page and embed mechanism used for the searchable athlete directory. If you haven't generated an embed before, [Website embeds & athlete directory](/docs/team-tools/website-embeds) covers getting the code and pasting it into your site; the steps are identical, you're just choosing the **Commitments** tab instead of **Athlete Search**.

## What shows up

Only committed athletes appear here. There's no toggle to include anyone else, since this widget exists specifically to show off your program's results. Athletes are sorted by grad year.

> **Archived athletes still appear here**
>
> This is the one place archiving doesn't remove someone. Archive last year's seniors to free up roster spots and their commitments stay on the showcase, so it builds into a running record of every commitment your program has produced rather than resetting each season. The athlete search embed works the opposite way: archive an athlete and they drop out of that directory immediately.

Each row shows:

| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Athlete's name |
| Commitment | College logo, school name, and sport |
| Grad Year | Graduation year |
| Position(s) | Athlete's position(s) |

Visitors can search by name or open **Filters** to narrow by sport, position, grad year, GPA, recruit type, or state — the same filtering available on the [athlete search embed](/docs/team-tools/website-embeds). One difference worth knowing: names in the commitments widget aren't clickable links, so visitors browse commitments here without jumping to an individual athlete's profile.

## Keeping it current

Because the widget reads commitment status live, there's nothing to publish or refresh on your end. As soon as an athlete's [commitment](/docs/profile/commitment) is recorded on their profile, it shows up in the embed the next time someone loads the page. If your space or account is temporarily offline, visitors see a placeholder message instead of the widget.

## What's next

- Set up the companion [athlete search embed](/docs/team-tools/website-embeds) so recruiters can browse your full roster, not just committed athletes.
- Give an individual team its own shareable page with [Team profiles](/docs/team-tools/team-profiles).
- Make sure athletes know how to log a commitment on their [profile](/docs/profile/commitment).
