TL;DR: FieldLevel is a recruiting network built around your high school or club coach promoting you, and on the free plan college coaches have to message you first. ProductiveRecruit lets you email any college coach from your own Gmail and see who opens, clicks, and replies. Choose FieldLevel if your coach is active there and promoting you. Choose ProductiveRecruit if you want to start the conversation yourself. Plenty of athletes use both.

FieldLevel has helped many athletes, but it's not the right fit for everyone. Here's what we hear from athletes who switched.
On FieldLevel's free plan, a college coach has to start the conversation. Your profile is searchable, but you're waiting to be found.
Contacting colleges starts with Gold at $49/month or $470/year, and Gold lets you contact 20 colleges a month. Unlimited is Platinum, at $79/month or $758/year. Silver ($29/month) doesn't include contacting colleges at all. Prices as of October 2026.
FieldLevel is built around your high school or club coach promoting you to college coaches in their network. If your coach is busy or isn't active on FieldLevel, you lose the main way athletes get in front of colleges there.
When you contact a college, FieldLevel sends it to the coach for you. And college coaches without a FieldLevel account see a limited version of your profile.
ProductiveRecruit is built for athletes who want to take control of their recruiting—with real email tracking, personal Gmail integration, and tools that show you exactly which coaches are interested.
Search 90,000+ verified college coaches and email them yourself. No waiting for a coach to find you first, and no monthly college cap. Send up to 150 emails a day.
Coaches see your name and your email address, and replies land in your inbox like any other email.
Track opens, link clicks, profile views, video plays, and replies on every email, rolled into an engagement score for every program.
Clubs and high schools can run ProductiveRecruit for their athletes, but you don't need your coach's help to start reaching out.
