Google Account Integration

GOOGLE ACCOUNT INTEGRATION

ProductiveRecruit has integrated with Google's API services to enhance your experience on our Website. This integration allows our users to manage their college recruiting communications through ProductiveRecruit using their own Google email accounts, including sending emails, viewing replies, replying to threads, managing drafts, and organizing messages with labels.

Limited Use Compliance

ProductiveRecruit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Scopes We Request

When you connect your Google account, we request access to the following scopes:

  • gmail.modify — allows us to send emails from your Gmail account, read messages and threads related to your recruiting communications, create and manage drafts, apply and manage labels, and mark messages as read or unread. This scope does not allow us to permanently delete your emails.
  • userinfo.email — allows us to access the email address associated with your Google account.
  • userinfo.profile — allows us to access your name and profile picture associated with your Google account.

How We Access and Use Google User Data

  • Access to Data: Our application accesses Google user data only after obtaining explicit consent from you through Google's OAuth flow.
  • Use of Data: We use Gmail data solely to provide the recruiting communication features within ProductiveRecruit, such as sending emails, displaying coach replies, managing drafts, and organizing messages. We only access messages and threads related to your recruiting communications initiated through or connected with ProductiveRecruit. We do not access unrelated messages in your Gmail inbox.
  • Data Storage: Google user data we obtain is stored securely and protected with appropriate security measures. Stored data includes the emails you send through ProductiveRecruit and the recruiting conversations associated with your account.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • Data Sharing: We do not share your Google user data with third parties, except with service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations or as necessary to provide our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your Gmail data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
  • Data Disclosure: We may disclose Google user data if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or other legal request.

Data Security

  • We implement robust security measures to protect your Google user data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
  • Despite our efforts, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

Changes to Our Use of Google User Data

  • We will notify you of any changes to how we access, use, store, or share your Google user data.

Your Control Over Your Data

  • You can revoke our access to your Google user data at any time through your Google Account settings or by disconnecting your Google account within ProductiveRecruit.
  • You can request deletion of your stored Gmail data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Additional Provisions

The rest of our Privacy Policy also applies to the Google user data we handle.
