ProductiveRecruit February 2026 Product Update

February was a big month. We rebuilt the athlete dashboard from the ground up, gave the entire app a fresh look, and made meaningful improvements to email tracking and college search. Here's everything we shipped. Watch the full walkthrough below to see our new dashboard, or keep reading for all the details.

A Completely Redesigned Athlete Dashboard

The dashboard is now your command center. Instead of a simple overview, you get real, actionable insight into your recruiting journey at a glance.

Profile Strength A new Profile Strength widget breaks your profile into 8 sections—photo, basic info, athletics, academics, contact info, video, bio, and social links—and shows your completion percentage. Each incomplete section links directly to where you need to go to fill it in. A stronger profile means better first impressions with college coaches.

Recruiting Pipeline The new Recruiting Pipeline card gives you a visual breakdown of where every school on your target list stands. A stacked bar shows how many programs are in each status—Researching, Contacting, Applied, Committed, and more—so you can see your recruiting progress without leaving the dashboard.

Outreach & Engagement Charts Stat cards now include sparkline charts showing trends over time, and a new Outreach & Engagement bar chart tracks your email sends, opens, and profile views with tooltips and a legend. A unified date picker at the top lets you zoom into any time range, with the chart automatically switching between daily and monthly views.

Better Onboarding for New Athletes New athletes now see a getting-started checklist that walks them through their first three steps, along with actionable prompts and a clear path to building out their profile and target list.

College Search Improvements

We made the college search filters more intuitive. Academic filters—GPA, Cost, ACT, SAT, Acceptance Rate, and Graduation Rate—now use range sliders instead of text inputs, making it faster to dial in your criteria. Each filter group (Athletics, Location, Academics) now shows a count of active filters with individual clear buttons, so you always know what's applied.

A Fresh, Modern App Design

We redesigned the entire app shell with a branded look that's easier to navigate.

The main navigation is now a persistent sidebar with a dark navy gradient, smooth transitions, and clear hover states. On mobile, a frosted glass header keeps things clean without losing access to navigation. The sidebar auto-collapses when you're working on your profile or browsing colleges, giving you more screen space where it matters—and expands back when you navigate away.

Profile sub-navigation is now grouped into clear sections—About You, Your Sport, Recruiting, and Settings—making it faster to find the page you need.

Notifications got a polish too, with color-coded icons per notification type and an unread indicator dot on the sidebar.

Redesigned Live Profile

Your public-facing profile page got a visual refresh to match the new app design. The live profile now features a dark navy gradient background with modern card styling, blue-tinted borders, and layered shadows. Team profile pages received the same treatment, giving your organization a consistent, professional look when coaches visit.

Email Tracking Improvements

We've made improvements to email open and click tracking accuracy. ProductiveRecruit now does a better job of identifying machine opens from email security scanners and bot traffic, and filters those out of your email activity. This means your open and click metrics should more closely reflect real engagement from the people you're reaching out to.

Pipeline Status Update

We renamed the "Interested" pipeline status to "Researching" to better reflect what that early stage of the recruiting process actually looks like. The "Not Interested" status is now muted to gray, keeping your focus on active opportunities.

Women's Flag Football

ProductiveRecruit now supports Women's Flag Football as a sport, with positions for QB, WR, Center, Rusher, DB, and Safety. If you're part of a flag football program, you can now build profiles and manage recruiting just like any other sport on the platform.

College Preferences Privacy

We added a privacy callout to the College Preferences page so athletes know their preferences are not visible to college coaches. Your college preferences are for your own planning—coaches can't see them.

What's Next

February was one of our biggest update months yet, and we have more planned for March. If there's something that would make ProductiveRecruit work better for you, we'd love to hear it.
