There's no separate ProductiveRecruit app to download. You use the same site in your phone's browser, built to resize and reflow for a smaller screen. Everything you can do on desktop (build your profile, manage your target list, send emails, check tracking) works the same way on mobile.
Is there an app store app?
No. ProductiveRecruit doesn't have a native iOS or Android app yet, so there's nothing to install from the App Store or Google Play. Open app.productiverecruit.com in Safari, Chrome, or any modern mobile browser and log in like you would on a computer. You can still get an icon on your home screen, covered below.
What works well on mobile
The dashboard, profile editor, target list, email composer, and tracking views all adapt to a phone-sized screen: layouts stack vertically, filters collapse into compact menus, and buttons stay tappable. Some tasks are just easier with more screen space, like reviewing a long target list, so a tablet or laptop is worth using for heavier editing sessions when you have one handy. But nothing is off-limits on a phone.
Add it to your home screen
You can put ProductiveRecruit one tap away, so you're not typing the URL or digging through browser tabs every time. It takes about ten seconds.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open app.productiverecruit.com in Safari and log in.
- Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up (bottom of the screen on iPhone, top on iPad).
- Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Name it something short like "Recruit," then tap Add.
On Android
- Open app.productiverecruit.com in Chrome and log in.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen.
- Confirm with Add.
Because you stay logged in on your phone, tapping the icon takes you straight to your dashboard. It's the single best thing you can do to actually keep up with recruiting between practices, since checking for coach replies stops being a chore.
A few honest limits
- No push notifications. Coach opens, clicks, and new checklist items show up when you check the app, not as a phone notification. Email alerts still reach your inbox, so keep those on if you want to know quickly. See Notifications.
- No offline mode. You need an internet connection to load and use the site, same as on desktop.
Tips for using it on your phone
- Logged out unexpectedly? Your session likely just expired — log back in. See Resetting your password if you're stuck at the login screen.
- Double-check your message on the small screen before sending. See Reviewing and personalizing emails.
