Opens and clicks tell you that something happened. The Engagement page tells you who is paying attention. It rolls every signal a coach can give you — opening an email, clicking a link, viewing your profile, watching a video, writing back — into a single engagement score per program, and ranks your outreach by it.
Find it under Emails → Engagement, or click View details on the Outreach & Engagement chart on your dashboard.

What's on the page
Stat cards for the date range you pick (the last 30 days by default):
- Emails Sent and how many programs those went to
- Opens with your open rate — the share of emails sent in the period that were opened at least once
- Clicks with your click rate — the share of emails with at least one link click
- Replies with your reply rate — the share of programs you contacted that wrote back
Each card carries a small sparkline so you can see the shape of the period at a glance. For the full time-series view, use the Outreach & Engagement chart on your dashboard.
Most Engaged Programs — every program with engagement in the period, ranked by score.
How the engagement score works
Each coach action earns points for that program:
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Replied to your email | 15 |
| Clicked a link in your email | 5 |
| Viewed your profile | 5 |
| Watched one of your videos | 5 |
| Opened your email | 1 |
The score is the total for the date range you've selected. A reply is worth the most by a wide margin because it's the only action where a coach chose to spend time on you. Clicks, profile views, and video views count the same — they're all a coach taking a deliberate step past the inbox. Opens count a little, because an open on its own is a weak signal.
A few things to know:
- Only real engagement counts. Automatic opens from mail apps that pre-load images and clicks from email security scanners are filtered out before they ever reach the score. Out-of-office auto-replies don't count as replies.
- One click can earn more than one signal. When a coach clicks the profile link in your email, that's a click and a profile view — 10 points for a coach who actually landed on your page. If they play a video while they're there, that's another 5.
- Replies only count if reply tracking is on. If you haven't turned it on, the Replies card will say so and link you to Email Setup. Everything else still scores.
Reading the table
Each row shows:
- Rank and score. The score sits in a blue pill — the bigger the number, the more that program has engaged. Sort by Score to put your most engaged programs on top.
- Trend — how the score compares to the previous period of the same length. An up arrow means the program is heating up; a down arrow means it's cooling off. Sort by Trend to put the biggest movers on top — that surfaces programs a score sort hides, like one that still ranks high but is cooling fast. (There's no trend for the All time range.)
- Engagement — an icon chip for each signal behind the score: replies, clicks, profile views, video views, and opens, strongest first, and only the ones that actually happened. Hover a chip to name it; the ⓘ beside the column header explains every icon and what it adds to the score.
- A star next to programs that are already on your target list.
Above the table, a search box and a division filter help you find a specific school in the ranking — type any part of the school's name, or narrow to NCAA D1 through Junior College.
The row menu (⋯) lets you jump to that program's full activity feed or email history, compose a new email to them, or add them to your target list if they aren't on it yet.
Where else the score shows up
Your dashboard leads with an Engagements tile: every coach action in the range you've picked, how many programs it came from, and a chip for each signal — so you can tell at a glance whether that number is mostly opens or mostly replies. The ⓘ on the tile explains each icon, and View details on the Outreach & Engagement chart brings you to this page.
Your target list shows each school's all-time score and signals in an Engagement column, so the list you manage tells you who's engaging without leaving it. Click the header to sort your most engaged schools to the top — sorting is a view, not a re-rank, so your hand-ranked order is untouched. The column appears the first time a coach engages with your outreach; until then there's nothing to score.
What to do with it
- Follow up with your highest scores first. A coach who replied or clicked through repeatedly is telling you something — that's where your next email should go. The ↩ reply chip marks the programs that matter most.
- Watch the trend column after a campaign. Programs suddenly heating up are the ones your new template or video landed with.
- Add engaged programs to your target list. If a school you emailed on a whim keeps coming back to your profile, it belongs on the list — the row menu adds it in one click.
- Widen the date range if the table looks thin. Engagement is sparse; switching to the last 3 months or All time usually surfaces more.
