Events let coaches know exactly when and where they can see you compete: tournaments, showcases, combines, or regular season games. Keep this list current and it doubles as a live recruiting calendar coaches can check anytime they visit your profile.
Add an event
From the Events tab in your profile editor, click to add a new event and fill in:
- Name — the tournament, showcase, or game name
- Start Date and End Date — use End Date for multi-day events; leave it blank for a single-day event
- Location
- Url — link to the event page, bracket, or livestream if there is one
- Relevant Notes — a rich-text field for anything a coach should know, like your field number or game times
Once saved, your event shows up in the Events table with its Name, Start Date, End Date, and Location. A search box above the table lets you filter by name as your list grows.
Import a schedule with AI
Already have your season schedule as a spreadsheet, a PDF, or a photo of a printed handout? Skip the typing. Click Import Schedule on the Events tab, upload one CSV, image, or PDF (up to 7 MB), and the AI pulls out every event it can find. It usually takes a few seconds, though a long schedule can take up to a minute.
Nothing saves automatically. Extracted events land in a review table with editable Name, Start Date, End Date, and Location fields. Correct anything that looks off, delete rows you don't want with the trash icon, then confirm to add the rest to your profile in one go. If the file is hard to read (a blurry photo, for example), try a clearer shot or a different format.
Each import counts as one AI generation against your allowance. See How many AI generations do I get? for how many you get and when the count resets.
How events are sorted
You don't control the order. Events sort themselves automatically. Upcoming and in-progress events show first, soonest to latest, followed by past events, most recent to oldest. Update the dates and the list reorders itself, so there's nothing to maintain beyond keeping the details accurate.
Team events
If you belong to a team that's part of an organization on ProductiveRecruit, events your team's staff add show up on your profile automatically alongside your personal events. Team events carry a colored badge with the team name, and you won't see edit or delete options on them. They're managed by your team, not you. What coaches see
On your public profile, events appear in a table with Name, Date(s), and Location, plus a View Details link that opens the full notes in a dialog. This respects your overall profile visibility. See Privacy & visibility for how your shareable link differs from your indexed public URL. For the full picture of what a coach sees end to end, check out Your public profile.
