Individual athlete accounts start with a free trial before you're asked to pay anything. It's the real product, not a stripped-down demo: you can build your profile, connect your email, and send actual outreach to see if it's worth it.
A card is required to start the trial, but you're not charged until it ends. Cancel anytime before then and you'll never be billed. If you don't cancel, the trial converts automatically into a paid Recruit Pro subscription.
Organization accounts work differently: there's no trial. Book a demo and we'll walk you through the product and get your account set up on the plan that fits your roster.
Trial limits
The trial is the real product with caps that lift the moment you subscribe:
- 10 emails total during the trial, whether sent one at a time or in a campaign. See deliverability & sending limits.
- 10 schools on your target list. (Athletes on an organization account without an active subscription have a 5-school cap instead.)
Trials are one per athlete. If yours lapsed a while ago and you want a fresh look before subscribing, email [email protected] and ask.
Canceling or upgrading early
You don't have to wait for the trial to run out. From your Subscription page you can subscribe early to lift trial limits right away, or cancel to keep access through the end of the trial window without ever being charged. See Billing for how to manage your subscription.
If you let a trial lapse without subscribing, nothing is deleted — your account just moves to a more limited free tier until you upgrade.
